After winning a Premier League title, it’s only natural to pop open the champagne – but for the five-year-old son of Manchester City’s star midfielder Phil Foden the cork proved just a little too tricky.

While the team hugged each other and waved to the fans in the stadium, little Ronnie, dressed in his Manchester City kit, was down on the pitch trying his best to pull the cork out.
At one point he even pushed the bottle to the ground, but despite his best efforts the cork stayed put – perhaps for the best given that he’s 13 years short of being able to legally drink it.
Ronnie had earlier held his talented dad’s hand as Phil Foden, 23 emerged from the tunnel at the start of the exhilarating match.
After the final whistle, he was seen again standing proudly next to the winners’ trophy, alongside his England player father, mother Rebecca Cooke and younger sister, True.
Last month, the Manchester City midfielder and his childhood sweetheart announced they are expecting their third child together.
Although aged just five, Ronnie has become something of a social media sensation, gaining a staggering four million Instagram followers – and becoming a millionaire in his own right.
The eldest child of the England footballer also has a talent manager, who lands brand collaborations for the account, which is managed by his parents.
Through his parents, the youngster has partnered with Propel Talent Group, a company that claims to manage ‘the careers of some of the UK’s most sought after talent’, focusing on ‘digital talent.’
While some of the posts on Ronnie’s account are adorable snaps of him on the football pitch with his famous father, others are of the cute youngster on his own, posing in stylish outfits.

Instagram accounts with more than one million followers are considered ‘mega-influencers’ and can earn upwards of £10,000 per post for a collaboration, while big celebrity accounts can earn upwards of £1 million, according to Influencer Marketing Hub.
Ronnie’s parents set up the account after a meme of the little one went viral with him dubbed ‘El Wey’ or ‘The Dude’ following Manchester City’s Champions League triumph over Inter Milan in Istanbul last June.
He became an unofficial mascot for the team thanks to cute photos of him with his father on the pitch and a selfie with Erling Haaland in the dressing room.
He was on Foden’s shoulders when Jack Grealish led a singalong for Rodri to 90s dance classic Freed from Desire by Gala in a clip that was posted online.
‘His personality has made him who he is. I think he went quite viral after [we] won the Champions League. He just reminds me of myself when I was a kid and he’s very funny,’ Foden previously told Sky Sports News.
