Chelsea could end up doing quite a bit of shopping in the Premier League this summer.

Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo is already close to joining Chelsea, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently revealing how the club beat Newcastle United in the race for his services.

Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise has also been linked with a move to the Blues again this summer.

And now there is talk about Chelsea potentially signing a new centre-forward already playing in the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca, who has just been named as the new Chelsea manager, could be joined by quite a few other fresh faces at Stamford Bridge, then.

Chelsea interested in Premier League striker

Nicolas Jackson did not do a bad job leading Chelsea’s line this season, scoring 14 goals in 35 Premier League appearances.

However, Maresca will want more than just the Senegal international, and it looks like Chelsea will try and give him that.

A report from Goal has now claimed that Chelsea have made contact to find out about Rodrigo Muniz’s situation at Fulham.

It states that the Blues could end up having to pay up to €40m (£34m) if they want to sign Muniz this summer.

Should Chelsea sign Rodrigo Muniz?

Chelsea no longer look to be in the race for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, while they could miss out on RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko to Arsenal.

It has been claimed that the 21-year-old would rather join Arsenal amid interest from both clubs.

If Chelsea cannot sign any of their top targets for the striker position, then bringing in Muniz could make a lot of sense.

Muniz really exploded in the second half of the season, finishing the Premier League campaign with nine goals in 26 appearances.

The Brazilian would perhaps not be an upgrade on Jackson; however, he would take some of the burden off him after a season where the 22-year-old had no real back-up.
