A man accused of murdering his ex-wife by running her off the road in New South Wales’ Central West has died.
Troy Andrew Armstrong, 36, was charged with the murder of Kristy Armstrong, after allegedly driving his ute towards her sedan at 140km/h in Molong on June 9, 2023.

He was refused bail and has been in custody since June.

In a statement today, Corrective Services NSW said a 36-year-old man was found unresponsive in his cell at Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre in Silverwater on Tuesday.
