Alison Hammond ‘being lined up for her own show on Sky as the broadcaster’s bosses hope to poach her away from ITV daytime’

Alison Hammond is reportedly being lined up for her own show on Sky.

It is claimed bosses at the broadcaster are hoping to poach her away from ITV where she is a regular on daytime television, including This Morning.

It comes after the former Big Brother star, 47, signed up for a regular spot on the BBC‘s I Can See Your Voice and after she starred in the Sainsbury’s Christmas advert.

A TV insider told The Sun: ‘It remains to be seen if This Morning bosses will give her a higher wage and a higher-profile role on the show to ensure she stays with them.

‘If not, the Sky show is unlikely to be the last tempting offer she receives.’

MailOnline has contacted Sky and representatives for Alison for comment.

Meanwhile, Alison has been named as one of the stars Claudia Winkleman would like to see on a celebrity version of The Traitors.

The game show – which is fronted by Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia – follows a group of strangers posing as Faithful contestants to win a cash prize of up to £120,000 but features a small number of Traitors who ‘murder’ one of their fellow contenders each night.

Following a successful launch series, a string of famous faces could reportedly be gearing up to take part.

The celebrity edition is thought to be being planned as a charity edition for either Children in Need or Comic Relief.

Claudia herself has already named a string of stars she would like to see take on the mental and physical challenges, including the likes Alison and former EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt.

She said: ‘Victoria Coren, Kirsty Young, Adam Woodyatt, Stephen Fry, AlisonHammond… let’s do it!’

The inaugural series of the show came to a conclusion on Thursday last week.
