Emergency services were called to the intersection of Alamein Street and Savages Parade at Beenleigh about 11pm after receiving reports of an assault.
Officers discovered the boy, who had suffered serious injuries.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
Officers are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with footage of the area, including dashcam and CCTV, to contact police.
The Investigation remains ongoing.
