The future at Chelsea is certainly something which supporters can be excited about right now.

Ever since Todd Boehly took over as owner of the club, they have been determined to bring in some of the world’s most talented youngsters ahead of their rivals.

One of the highlight additions up to now has been Kendry Paez, who will join up with the first team from next summer.

He has already been making an impact for the Ecuador national team alongisde Moises Caicedo, scoring at a younger age than Lionel Messi and Neymar at the recent Copa America.

If that hype could in any way be topped, then it may well have done by the signing of Estevao Willian which the club announced earlier in the transfer window.

The 17-year-old has been starring for Palmeiras as he waits until he can join up with the Blues, seeming to score another stunning goal every time he plays right now.

Estevao Willian set for Brazil call-up

It seems as if the Brazilian national team have taken notice of his performances too. Journalist Eduardo Burgos has stated on Twitter that they are looking to call him up for the first international break of next season.

He said: “Brazil thinks about Estevão ahead of the September Qualifiers. Sources close to the CBF comment that he did not go to the Copa América because he was not yet settled in Palmeiras.

“The staff thinks Estevão is a pure talent. They hadn’t seen something like this in a long time.”

Even though Chelsea paid big money to secure the services of Estevao, it has been reported that fans of Palmeiras are of the belief that he may well have been sold for a fee too low.

There will no doubt be some supporters who are still keen for the Blues to bring in some players who can make an impact on the first team instantly.

It does look as if they will look to intergrate Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall instantly, after his succesful season under Enzo Maresca last time out.
