Chelsea players have begun to filter back into Cobham as they prepare for another pre-season tour of the United States.

A number of those who have been spotted in training spent the majority of last seasons on the sidelines, and one of those was Christopher Nkunku.

The Frenchman was brought in with the idea that he could completely revolutionise their attack last season, however an injury he suffered in pre-season saw him miss the majority of the campaign.

In his brief appearances for the Blues, he showed plenty of potential that he can bring them exactly what they need going forwards.

With prices for players on the popular Fantasy Premier League app coming out ahead of next season, Nkunku’s low fee of £6.5m certainly took some by surprise.

In fact, Chelsea fans took to Twitter to share just how much of a bargain they think that could be.

One user said: “That’s a bargain if he stays fit.”

Another added: “I’m getting him asap, this is a over 20 g/a season for him.”

A third claimed: “My first purchase for sure. Way too cheap.”

Another said: “Bargain of the bunch.”

Finally, one user stated: “He will cook. His balloon celebration will be regular.”

While Nkunku is coming in at a very achievable price, one of his teammates has actually achieved the biggest increase in starting price the game has ever seen.

Cole Palmer is the recipient of that privilege, after being the highest points scorer last season in the game.

He will no doubt play an important role under new manager Enzo Maresca next season, after he established himself as the top performer at Stamford Bridge.

While it is not clear yet which position he will play the majority of his minutes in, a lot of the attacking play is likely to go through both Palmer and Nkunku as they look to climb up the Premier League table, as well as compete for a European honour.
