Chelsea will hope that their transfer strategy of signing highly-rated youngsters in the last couple of years will pay off in the long run.

The latest recruit to fit that mould is Estevao Willian.

Chelsea confirmed earlier this summer they’ve agreed a deal to sign Palmeiras youngster Estevao.

The 17-year-old attacker will officially join the Blues squad in the summer of 2025 as he continues his development in Brazil with Palmeiras for the next year.

Chelsea supporters will be delighted to hear that their signing is excelling in the Brazilian top division.

Chelsea wonder boy now really making his mark

Estevao is now really beginning to impress in the first team.

The right-winger, who loves to cut infield on his left foot, is now consistently starting games in the Palmeiras senior XI.

He’s now played 29 first-team matches, scoring seven goals and making five assists in return.

When he links up with the Chelsea squad in 2025, it will be interesting to see where he fits in.

Blues wingers such as Raheem Sterling, Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk may need to really cash in during this upcoming season.
