Despite it being the topic of conversation for most of last season, it remains to be seen whether Chelsea make a move for one position in particular this summer.
It was widely expected that the Blues would make a move for a big-name striker, and they were reportedly prepared to pay the release clause to sign Benjamin Sesko.
However, he has since signed a new contract, and the majority of Chelsea’s attention has turned to potential younger additions such as Jhon Duran and Samu Omorodion.
Reports have stated that new manager Enzo Maresca is not keen on going into next season with just Nicolas Jackson as a recognised striking option.
Because of this, rumours of a big-name addition have not disappeared, and have begun to circle back to Napoli star Victor Osimhen.

It was believed that the Nigerian was the number one target for club owner Todd Boehly this summer, although efforts had not brought around any offer yet.
Chelsea make offer for Victor Osimhen
However, RMC Sport have claimed that the striker has an offer on the table from Chelsea, as well as from Saudi Arabia over a potential next move.
He was given plenty of praise for his performances in the last couple of seasons, with one of the goals he scored last season being described as ‘superhuman’.
The Blues are almost certainly going to need the price to come down from the release clause mentioned in the past if they are to bring him in this summer.
Chelsea believe Christopher Nkunku can play striker
There is reportedly a desire that Christopher Nkunku can make an impact in the striker position next season, after he spent the majority of the previous campaign on the treatment table.
There will also be an expectation that Jackson starts the campaign in the starting side after his very strong first season as a Premier League player last time around.
