Chelsea have been linked with a couple of players who really impressed at Euro 2024, with the Blues looking to strengthen their attack this summer.

The above includes Spain and Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams. It has been suggested that Chelsea could try to sign Williams, depending on what happens between the 22-year-old and Barcelona.

The Blues have been busy during this transfer window, making plenty of signings and sanctioning sales.

So far, Chelsea have signed Renato Veiga, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Marc Guiu, Omari Kellyman and Tosin Adarabioyo. However, while Estevao Willian is also set to join the club next summer, they are yet to bring in a new winger.

Dani Olmo was the best dribbler at Euro 2024

Although his best position is No.10, Spain’s Dani Olmo can also play out wide. He has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea said to be interested in Olmo.

If the Blues do go on to sign the RB Leipzig attacker this summer, then it looks like they could end up with a very good dribbler.

In fact, according to WhoScored, Olmo was actually the best dribbler at Euro 2024. He had a dribble success rate of 73.7% in Germany.

Defensively, he also made a very important contribution, heading the ball off his line in the final against England.

Dani Olmo looks more likely to join one of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals

For as good as a dribbler Olmo is, the 26-year-old does not look like he needs to be a priority for Enzo Maresca this summer.

Again, Olmo is probably at his best when he is playing behind a striker. But Chelsea already have Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku for that role.

With that in mind, a move to a club like Manchester City, for example, seems more likely. Man City could land Olmo by triggering his release clause, it has been claimed.

According to gianlucadimarzio.com, Olmo has a €60m (£50m) release clause in his contract. And after his performances at the Euros, he could be well worth the fee.
