Chelsea are back in action tomorrow night as they continue their preparations for the new Premier League season.

While the result always comes secondary, Enzo Maresca will be hoping for his first win as Blues manager after the 2-2 draw with Wrexham.

Nearly every player available got 45 minutes earlier this week, and will look to make more of an impact in their second opportunity against Celtic.

Here’s The Chelsea Chronicle’s predicted line-up for their second friendly of the summer.

Chelsea Predicted XI vs Celtic

While reports continue over the potential signing of Filip Jorgensen, Robert Sanchez will remain the number one for the time being.

Malo Gusto will begin as the right-back, and may actually get the opportunity to stay there instead of inverting.

Tosin Adarabioyo will be the starting centre-back on the right, as he continues his push to break into the starting side on a regular basis.

Levi Colwill will shift to the middle of what turns into a back three, a position he will be hoping to play in next season.

At left-back, Renato Veiga will make his first appearance for the club, with the 20-year-old being able to invert comfortably.

Romeo Lavia impressed in his first outing of 2024, and will continue in his role there tomorrow night.

After a small injury concern, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will be ready to make his first impact in what will be an attacking midfield again.

Alongside him, Christopher Nkunku will look to build on a very promising first appearance of pre-season against Wrexham.

Noni Madueke will be hoping he can have more of an impact on the right of attack than in his 45 minutes last time out.

On the other side, there will be more impotence on the left winger to create, and this will be the task for Mykhailo Mudryk in his first appearance of pre-season.

Up front, Marc Guiu impressed supporters greatly in his debut for the club, and will have the opportunity to do so again against Celtic.
