Ahmed Al Azzam, 25, was found with gunshot wounds in a car on Mayvic Street in Greenacre on July 23, 2023.
He later passed away from his injuries. 
A second man, aged 22, and a woman, aged 19, were also found injured in a separate car.
Police said last year that the shooting was a case of mistaken identity, and none of the victims had any links to a criminal group. 
Seven people have already been charged in relation to the shooting.
Police arrested an eighth man, aged 35, at a business in Liverpool just after 10am today.
He was taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was charged with murder, two counts of shooting at with intent to murder, and participating criminal group contribute criminal.
The man was refused bail to appear in Liverpool Local Court today.
An hour earlier, police transferred a 27-year-old man from a correctional facility to Riverstone Police Station.
He was charged with murder, two counts of shooting at with intent to murder, acquiring a pistol – subject to firearms prohibition order, supplying a prohibited firearm subject prohibition order, and participating in a criminal group contribute criminal.
Another 22-year-old man remains wanted with an outstanding arrest warrant in relation to the alleged murder.
