It looks as if Chelsea are still not done when it comes to making potential new signings in this summer transfer window.
Despite the fact that the Premier League season is just a few weeks away, there looks to still be an appetite for the club to strengthen the first team for the benefit of Enzo Maresca at the helm.
The Blues lost one of their real leaders this summer in the form of Thiago Silva, and have looked to do their best to replace him thus far.
The addition of Tosin Adarabioyo seems to have looked to help bring a leader to the club, with that being noted about his traits in his first few training sessions.
Their pursuit of reinforcements does not seem to be done though, and one name they were strongly linked to earlier this summer was Murillo from Nottingham Forest.
Chelsea interested in £60m Murillo
Now, journalist Sami Mokbel has claimed that the Premier League side are holding out for a fee of around £60m in order to part ways with the Brazilian this summer.
The young defender has already been described as ‘outstanding’ by Jamie Carragher in the early stages of his Premier League career.
Murillo excelled when featuring at the back for Forest last season, with his strongest side clearly being the left at the back.
This would perhaps cause some issues at Stamford Bridge when taking into account the position of one of their most promising young players.
Levi Colwill in for big season
Levi Colwill looks like he is in for a big season under Maresca, and he will be hoping a large portion of his minutes come as somewhat of a centre-back.
With him already competing for minutes with Benoit Badiashile there, he will be hoping another addition isn’t made that could take playing time away from him.
Chelsea are also being linked with the addition of a new striker, although any potential deal for Victor Osimhen looks set to drag out for the remainder of the window.
