Surfer dies after being pulled unconscious from the water by swimmers and surfers and paramedics performing CPR

  • A surfer, 62, has died after he was pulled from the ocean on the NSW South coast

A surfer has died after being pulled unconscious from the water on the NSW south coast. 

The 62-year-old man was brought to shore by surfers and swimmers at Caves Beach, Jervis Bay, about 10am on Monday. 

Paramedics performed CPR but the surfer could not be revived. 

Officers attached to the South Coast Police District and Federal Police attended. 

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
