Who would have thought? Reese Witherspoon (46) is now world-famous as an actress and enjoys great popularity with films such as “Legally Blonde”. But even the blonde started small. As a teenager, Reese did a school internship to get a behind-the-scenes look at film production. She assisted in the shooting of the film “Teufel in Blau”, in which Denzel Washington (68) played. She now revealed: Reese was allowed to drive Denzel’s Porsche during the internship!
On the show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! said the 46-year-old: “I had to constantly make phone calls during the internship, but as soon as Denzel entered the room, I was supposed to park his Porsche.” Asking that to a 17-year-old who just got his driver’s license wasn’t a good idea, the actress joked. Reese then saw Denzel at a wedding a few years ago and he revealed that his daughter prepared her outfits for the blonde as part of a shoot. “It’s like coming full circle,” Reese commented.
For the mother of three children, it is not a matter of course that she is lucky enough to be able to earn her money as an actress. By the end of 2021, Reese had looked back at her beginnings and said: “I had no idea about the journey that lay ahead of me, but I am so grateful for all the ups and downs that have brought me here.”
