Michelle Pfeiffer, 64, is a vision in a stunning black gown at the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania premiere… as she cheerfully reunites with Kathryn Newton

Michelle Pfeiffer started her week on Monday night with a glamorous look at the Los Angeles premiere for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

The 64-year-old blonde bombshell stepped out in a stunning black gown at the premiere, held at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles.

The actress – who recently opened up about stepping away from the Hollywood spotlight – was also seen cheerfully reuniting with her co-star Kathryn Newton.

Pfeiffer stepped out in a stunning full-length black gown that fell to the red carpet, with her blonde locks flowing just past her shoulders.

The Scarface star also accessorized with large gold hoop earrings and gold bracelets that went over the sleeves of her dress.

She was also seen excitedly reuniting with Kathryn Newton, who plays Cassie Lang, the daughter of Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang/Ant-Man, in the sequel.

Pfeiffer made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Janet Van Dyne – the long-missing wife of Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) in 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.

She returned as Janet Van Dyne in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame before returning in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which debuts in theaters February 17.

The film will kick off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, followed by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (May 5, 2023), The Marvels (July 28, 2023), Captain America: New World Order (May 3, 2024), Thunderbolts (July 26, 2024) and Blade (September 6, 2024).

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania follows Scott, Cassie, Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne as they explore the Quantum Realm.

The film also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, Katy M. O’Brian as Jentorra and Bill Murray as Krylar.

The film is directed by Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp director Peyton Reed from a script by Jeff Loveness (Rick and Morty).

Box office analysts are projecting an opening weekend debut somewhere in the range of $96 million to $131 million, which could make it the first 2023 film to open north of $100 million.
