Sister of murdered Idaho student Kalyee Goncalves gives birth to baby girl – giving her middle name of MaddieKay in tribute to her and best friend Maddie Mogen

- The baby’s middle name combines the names of Kalyee Goncalves and Maddie Mogen, who were both murdered and had been best friends for years
- Goncalves’ family posted a picture of the newborn, and said they were ‘blessed’
The sister of Idaho murder victim Kalyee Goncalves gave birth to a baby girl early Friday morning.
Alivea Goncalves gave birth at 4:21am, and named the girl Theodora MaddieKay Stevensen.
The baby’s middle name is a combination of Kalyee’s and her best friend Maddie Mogen’s. Maddie was also murdered in the quadruple homicide last November at their home at the University of Idaho, Moscow.
Kaylee and Maddie had been best friends since the sixth grade.
The Goncalves family posted a picture of the healthy newborn, and said they were ‘blessed’ by her arrival.
