Former Bachelor star Bella Varelis had a rather smug reply to an Instagram follower on Tuesday, during a Q&A.
The former reality star turned influencer, 27, awkwardly told a follower to ‘read a book’ when asked her ‘thoughts’ on the fan-speculated internet feud between Justin and Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez.
Bella referenced her own life in the spotlight when she told her fans not to read celebrity gossip, insisting that ‘from personal experience, 99 per cent of what you read online is factually incorrect’.
‘Thoughts on the Selena & Hailey drammaaa???’ one follower asked.
‘Not giving it any attention and either should you. If I’ve learnt one thing being in my position, from personal experience, 99 per cent of what you read online is factually incorrect,’ Bella claimed.

‘The amount of times people have thought I’ve done something on purpose and I wasn’t even aware of it is ridiculous, all it does is bring negative hate and energy to that person.’
She scathingly added: ‘Whether it’s true or untrue, don’t be one of those people, if you want to read something, open a book.’
Despite the awkward interaction with her fan and discussing the pitfalls of being in the public eye, Bella has used her profile to amass more than 109,000 followers on Instagram after her stint on The Bachelor in 2020 and now has her own clothing brand.

In January last year, she accidentally revealed her earnings as an influencer.
She shared a post on Instagram that showed her bank details, confirming she had more than $98,000 in her savings account.
While she quickly deleted the post, it was screenshotted by a fan and later reuploaded by the private influencer.updates.au Instagram account.

Bella has been nursing heartbreak of late, revealing in September last year she had split from her photographer boyfriend Will Stokoe after two years of dating.
Bella said she was hoping to keep the split private, but had no choice but to address it publicly due to her celebrity status and the ‘constant questions’ from fans.
She also has no doubt generated interest in her love life thanks to appearing on the dating show, The Bachelor.
‘I feel like it’s best to answer this once so the prying will stop because it’s really affecting me by being asked about this daily,’ she said.
‘Will and I decided to take some time apart and go our separate ways to focus on ourselves,’ she added.
‘We have so much love and respect for each other but this is just what’s best for both of us now.
‘I love you guys and am so grateful for the love and support you’ve given us over the last two years.’
