Use a kitchen sponge and rub the interior of the sandwich maker. Make sure to be gentle and remove the residue, grease, or oil using a kitchen towel.
Step 5: Vinegar or lemon juice and baking soda
In case the stain is too tough, go for a solution of baking soda and vinegar. Mix 1 tbsp of baking soda with 2 tbsp of vinegar or lemon juice. Make sure the mixture is of coating consistency. Apply it on the hot surface and let it rest for 2 minutes. Use a kitchen sponge to gently clean the dirt.
Step 6: Use soapy water
If the sandwich maker has a removable plate, you can use a concoction of lukewarm water and dishwashing liquid. All you need to do is, shake the concoction in a spray bottle, spray it on the plate, pour it on the hot plate, and use a sponge to clean it.
Step 7: Scrub and wipe everything clean
