The DIY SOS star was looking trim after revealing he got stuck in the Grand Canyon while making his new TV show after putting on four stone during lockdown.
The presenter, who previously revealed his weight crept up to 18st during the pandemic, got jammed in a crevice while filming Channel 5‘s The Grand Canyon.
Speaking on Radio X, Nick told how much of the system around the caves is built for ‘skinny people’.
He said: ‘You have to go through ‘horizontal chimneys’ which are for real cavers, who are like whippets — they’re tiny, skinny people.
‘But my director was like, “Go through here, and there’s a cave on the other side which we can talk in.”
Nick recalled how he began to panic after he got wedged and was unable to move his shoulders.
He said: ‘But half way along, I was like, “I can’t do this, this is just too much”. I had palpitations, it was seriously terrifying.
‘There was a point where I was wedged, I couldn’t get my shoulders through and I was wedged. My heart started to go and I was, “Breath, breath, breath”.’

Nick previously told how his weight crept up to 18 stone after he quit his fitness training and ate ‘all the pies’, with the star describing himself as ‘massive’.
The TV personality explained how in the first UK lockdown, which started in March 2020, he stopped fitness training while he focused on writing.
Meanwhile, the couple’s outing came after Nick hit back at criticism of his relationship with his younger girlfriend Katie.
Last month, the Who Dares Wins host spoke to The Sun as he and Katie stepped out at the Inspiration Awards in London.
Speaking about hitting out at online trolling, he told the publication: ‘I’m protective of Katie, because people make assumptions about her without knowing anything about her, so that’s why I spoke.’
‘Normally I never comment back to the trolls, but on one occasion when people were a little bit judgmental, I was angry on Katie’s behalf.’
He added: ‘I get upset when they come for people that I care about.’
Nick previously told The Sun about being the target of trolls, saying: ‘I choose to be on TV. As a result, I expect the whole nine yards. I am up there as an object.
‘I’ve chosen to be on TV but my children, or my family, or people I date, for them I feel it’s unfair to have a go at them.’
