From TikTok star to big screen siren! Addison Rae shoots scenes with hunk Patrick Dempsey and Milo Manheim in FIRST LOOK at her new slasher movie Thanksgiving

Addison Rae was seen for the first time on set of Eli Roth’s upcoming horror movie, Thanksgiving, while shooting scenes with Patrick Dempsey and Milo Manheim.

As cameras rolled in Toronto, the 22-year-old TikTok star was seen all bundled up in a purple padded jacket and plaid scarf during a tense-looking chat with her costar.

While filming, the social media sensation, who made her acting debut in Netflix‘s 2021 rom-com He’s All That, kept her hands buried into her pockets and eyebrows furrowed.

Manheim, 22, looked in deep conversation with Rae as they stood outside in the cold as Dempsey got into character as the town’s sheriff.

The Grey’s Anatomy actor, 57, was spotted springing into action as he handcuffed a young man.

Last month, Rae announced her casting in the film ‘about a pseudo movie, in which a slasher makes his own carving board out of the inhabitants of a Massachusetts town that makes a big annual fuss over the annual turkey day’ over Instagram.

The highly-anticipated slasher movie, based on a fake movie trailer from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s 2007 double-feature Grindhouse, will mark Rae’s first film in theaters after previously starring in a straight-to-Netflix movie.

In 2021, she signed a multi-picture deal with with streaming giant Netflix, which included her starring role as Padgett Sawyer in He’s All That.

Despite the film being panned by critics, the gender-swapped remake instantly shot to the top spot on Netflix’s most popular movies upon its release.

While speaking about making her acting debut, Rae said in a statement to Variety: ‘Getting the opportunity to work with Netflix was such a pinch me moment and now to be able to continue the relationship is beyond my wildest dreams.’

‘I’m thrilled to be able to collaborate with this incredible team and am excited to develop projects while continuing to strengthen my skills as an actress,’ she gushed.

The original, a modern update of George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion and the musical My Fair Lady, starred Freddie Prinze Jr. as a popular high schooler who accepted a bet to turn a nerdy girl (Rachael Leigh Cooke) into that year’s prom queen.

In the newest version, Addison played a popular Instagram influencer and high school senior who accepts a challenge to turn an introverted photographer (Tanner Buchanan) into the prom king.

The film became a smashing success as Netflix estimated that more than 55 million households watched the remake within the first month it hit the platform and reached #1 on the streaming platform in 78 countries.

While He’s All That is her only acting credit, she has appeared in several music videos and appeared on Hailey Bieber’s second episode of Who’s in my Bathroom? on YouTube.

Additionally, she made a cameo on her pal Kourtney Kardashian’s reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2021.
