Police are hunting Britain’s meanest thief – who stole a phone a woman was selling him to pay for her daughter’s funeral.
The victim had agreed to sell an iPhone to a man to help raise funds to put towards the costs of her late daughter’s funeral.
She arranged for him to attend her home address to collect the phone.
He then went inside her house to check that it worked.
But the robber then grabbed it from her hand and ran off without paying.

Officers are now appealing for information to help identify the man following the robbery in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Police have also received reports of a man matching the same description trying to enter multiple properties in Lydney, Gloucestershire, at the beginning of this month after claiming to be a housing surveyor.
Nothing is believed to have been stolen.
