Aussie goes viral for adding MAFS gaslighter Harrison Boon as a write-in candidate for the NSW state election… then puts him last

An Australian has gone viral after writing in Married At First Sight’s Harrison Boon as a candidate for the NSW state election.

The man named Rhys Mant shared a video to TikTok of his ballot paper after voting for his local candidates and numbering them from one to five.

At the end of the paper, he wrote ‘Harrison MAFS’ and labelled him as his last choice as number ‘six’.

‘Sorry Harrison Darlin, you are the weakest link,’ he captioned the video.

Many criticised Rhys for ‘wasting his vote’ however his vote is still valid as he hasn’t crossed out or replaced a candidate’s name on a ballot paper.

If a ‘substitute candidate name is left blank or given the last preference’ the vote is still formal, according to the Australian Electoral Commission.

Harrison has been at the centre of drama on Married At First Sight.

Earlier this month, it was revealed Harrison and his wife Bronte had a blow-up when he attempted to get ‘reassurance’, and it ended in a cowardly breakup text.

Speaking with the producers, Bronte said: ‘He wanted to speak to me about our future saying he wanted reassurance. I don’t know how much more reassurance I could have given him.

‘I go, “I want a family, I want a marriage and I’m willing to move.” That’s not enough for him. So fine. I said, “Do you want me to go home?” He stormed out, texted me and said he can’t trust me, this relationship is done.’

However, Harrison gave a different story of events, tweaking a few details during his own emotional chat with the producers.

During another episode, Bronte was left in tears when her co-stars accused Harrison of ’emotionally manipulating’ her.

The bubbly brunette was embroiled in tense scenes at the NSW Southern Highlands retreat where Claire Nomarhas gave her a stern warning.

Claire accused Harrison of trying to ’emotionally manipulate’ her with Bronte hitting back saying the other brides were just jealous.
