Aussie music legends AC/DC are getting set to rock again.
The iconic band will headline the Power Trip heavy rock music festival in California this coming October.
AC/DC share the bill of other chart-topping veteran rockers at the three-day festival, including Guns N’ Roses, Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica. It will be their first live show in seven years.
Meanwhile, rumours suggest that the band’s much-loved frontman, Brian Jonhson, 75, may be returning to the microphone for the high-profile gig.
The lead vocalist dropped out of the band’s North American jaunt in 2016, mid-tour, after his hearing problems became insufferable.

He was temporarily replaced by Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose, who served as vocalist for the band’s remaining concerts.
Formed in Sydney in 1973, the current line-up of AC/DC consists of Johnson, 68-year-old guitarist Angus Young, Stevie Young, his nephew, on rhythm guitar, Phil Rudd on drums and bass-player Cliff Williams.
Brothers Malcolm and Angus Young started the band and quickly rose to fame with lead singer Bon Scott.

The band produced a string of hits including It’s a Long Way to the Top (if You Wanna rock and Rock), Highway to Hell and Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap).
Following the death of Scott from acute alcoholic poisoning at the age of 33 in 1980, British-born Brian Johnson was hired to replace him.
Rhythm guitarist Malcolm was diagnosed with dementia in 2014 and retired to a Sydney nursing home. He died on November 18, 2017 at the age of 64.
Johnson sang lead vocals on the band’s 2020 album Power Up.
