Kyle Sandilands screams uncontrollably during terrifying haunted house tour at the Sydney Royal Easter Show

He’s used to shocking listeners with his racy breakfast radio show.

But it was Kyle Sandilands who lost his cool on Wednesday as he endured a terrifying tour his namesake attraction, Kyle And Jackie O’s House of Horrors, at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Sandilands visited the creepy ride on Wednesday ahead of its official launch, and footage from inside the haunted house shows the 51-year-old screaming as he’s confronted with animatronic ghouls and actors dressed as monsters.

One Instagram clip shows Sandilands and his producers Jaimee ‘Mayo’ Hassos and ‘Intern’ Peter Deppeler looking tense as they gingerly creep down a dark hallway.

Suddenly an arm reaches out from behind a wall and grabs at Sandilands, send him jumping back and screeching in terror.

Another clip shows Sandilands posing outside the house next to a group of actors dressed in spooky costumes.

Kyle & Jackie O’s Haunted House has been a regular installation at the Sydney Easter Show since 2016, and this year’s attraction is said to be scarier than ever before.

It features 13 rooms, including a replica of the KIIS studios, as well as 16 trained actors and 12 animatronics.

This year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show will also bring back the popular KIIS Eye ferris wheel.

It comes after Kyle and Jackie O dominated in the latest Australian podcast rankings, climbing two spots to number one.

According to the Australian Podcast Ranker results released last month, Kyle and Jackie O was downloaded 4.7 million times in February and had more than one million listeners – numbers no podcast has seen since Casefile in October 2021.

Hosted by the iHeartPodcast Network, the KIIS FM show has been the number one radio catch-up podcast since records began, and is now top in all categories.
