  • He’s expected to sit for a second deposition as part of New York Attorney General Letitia James’ $250 million civil law suit against his businesses

Former President Donald Trump is expected back in New York and back in court Thursday – this time for New York Attorney General Letitia James’ ongoing probe of his business empire.

Outlets, including ABC News, reported Monday that Trump was due back in the Big Apple on Thursday to sit for a second deposition as part of James’ $250 million civil fraud lawsuit.

James filed a civil suit against Trump and three of his adult children – Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka – accusing them of fraud by overvaluing assets to secure loans, but then undervaluing them on tax documents.

James, a Democrat, wants to bar all four Trumps from serving as executives at companies in the state of New York.

The New York Post reported that Trump plans to plead the fifth during Thursday’s sit-down.

He plans to fly from Mar-a-Lago – where he was spotted with former first lady Melania Trump at Easter brunch on Sunday – to New York on Wednesday, The Post said.

Last week Trump arrived at Trump Tower on Monday and then on Tuesday took his scaled-down motorcade to lower Manhattan to be arraigned in the Stormy Daniels hush-money case.

It marked the first time in American history a former president was charged with a crime.

A grand jury assembled by Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

The former president pleaded not guilty.

Trump’s return to New York created a chaotic atmosphere around New York Criminal Court, with both pro and anti-Trump factions represented.

Trump ally, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, briefly rallied outside the courthouse in his support – but was called a ‘Nazi’ and told to ‘go back to Georgia b***h’ by members of the crowd.

She quickly retreated back to her car.

Security was beefed up around the courthouse and Trump Tower.

Additionally, the judge in charge of the hush-money case, New York Judge Juan Merchan, has had to increase his security after receiving a flurry of death threats after Trump turned him into a political target.

After leaving New York, Trump returned to Mar-a-Lago and delivered a speech attacking Merchan, James and others.

‘I have a Trump-hating judge, with a Trump-hating wife and family, whose daughter worked for Kamala Harris and now receives money from the Biden-Harris campaign and a lot of it,’ Trump said of Merchan from the podium at his Florida home and resort.

Merchan’s daughter works in Democratic politics and NBC News found that he had donated $15 last cycle to President Joe Biden, who robbed Trump of a second term.

The former president referred to James, who is black, as a ‘racist in reverse’ for pursuing the fraud cases against his businesses.
