A notorious Rebels bikie has been thrown behind bars after police allegedly discovered methamphetamine in his bum bag.

Joseph Bradley Raimondi, 39, was refused bail in Northbridge Magistrates Court on Sunday over charges of unlawfully obtained property and burglary with intent.

The father-of-three is accused of stealing a Suzuki motorcycle reported missing in July 2021, with police finding the bike during a search warrant at his Lansdale home, north Perth, on April 1.

In court, Raimondi denied allegations that he stole the motorbike and insisted it belonged to his brother-in-law, the West Australian reports.

Prosecutors said police had ‘reasonable grounds to suspect’ he had also stolen a Volvo truck from a Kalamunda address and driven it to his father’s house.

Raimondi also rejected these claims, telling the court a ‘mate had called me up to store the truck,’ and that he ‘never touched the truck.’

The Rebels bikie was allegedly found with 3.6g of methamphetamine in his bum bag during a routine traffic stop on Saturday.

He spent the night in custody before facing court, where prosecutors alleged the evidence against the bricklayer and fish shop owner was strong.

They claimed police had photos of Raimondi committing the stealing offences.

The 39-year-old was once considered close to slain Rebels boss Nick Martin and was famously photographed flashing his Rebels tattoo at the scene of the gangland-style shooting of bikie enforcer Joseph Versace last September.

He lost 51kg following gastric sleeve surgery, one-third of his body weight, last year and has a Rebels tattoo on the left side of his head.

Raimondi applied for bail but was denied by Magistrate Stephen Wilson who cited a suspended sentence he had already been serving at the time.

He was remanded in custody to face Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
