A teenager has fallen to her death off a cliff after she reportedly tripped as she tried to stop her dog chasing a rabbit.
The 18-year-old woman died near Salcombe in Devon on Friday afternoon.
The coastguard was alerted at 3.45pm and attended with teams from Bigbury and Kingsbridge, an independent rescue boat and a coastguard helicopter alongside ambulance crews.
South Hams reports that the woman was walking her dog with her boyfriend before she died.
She reportedly tried to prevent her dog from chasing a rabbit off the cliff edge and tripped.

Around 4.45pm they also called police to the beach near Hope Cove, who confirmed that the body of a woman was recovered.
The force said she was pronounced dead at the scene and that her next of kin have been informed.
Devon and Cornwall police told the Mirror that her death isn’t being treated as suspicious and that inquiries are ongoing.
