Supporters in Man City shirts were seen walking to the ground as traffic hell broke out, and later a huge plume of smoke was seen passing the stadium from a nearby fire.

Then, with close to an hour until the match was scheduled to start, thousands were seen crowded outside the arena, and directed their ire at the organisers.

Chants of “What the f***ing hell is this,” broke out with a supporter stuck at Gate R. catching the scenes.
