Driver, 58, is charged with charged litany of dangerous driving offences after catastrophic Hunter Valley bus crash that killed ten wedding guests
The bus driver at the centre of a fatal bus crash has been formally charged by police with numerous driving offences.
The 58-year-old driver was transporting 35 people to accomodation from a wedding at about 11:30pm on Sunday when the bus crashed, leaving 10 dead and 25 injured, one of which in a critical condition.
Police confirmed the driver was taken to hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol testing which came back negative.
He was later transferred to Cessnock Police Station where he was charged with ten counts of dangerous driving occasioning death.
