Caitlin McClonville doesn’t look like this anymore! Married At First Sight star looks unrecognisable after extreme makeover
Married At First Sight Caitlin McClonville has debuted a dramatic new look after swapping her trademark golden locks for a jet-black ‘do.
The makeup artist, 27, surprised fans on Monday after she uploaded two photos of herself looking completely unrecognisable with long raven hair.
The images showed Caitlin pouting at the camera while sitting on the floor of her home in a blue strapless dress.
‘Harnessing my potential to ‘level up’, she captioned the post.
Caitlin’s fellow Married At First Sight brides were thrilled with her makeover, with co-star Janelle Han commenting: ‘Omfg I’m literally screaming at my phone’, while Bronte Schofield added: ‘This was THE move.’

The post’s caption referred to a brutal comment made by her MAFS ‘husband’ Shannon Bennett on the show about how he wasn’t attracted to her.
During the show’s photo challenge, Shannon told Caitlin that she had ‘the potential to just level up’ if she stopped wearing so much makeup.
‘Their natural beauty shines more than yours,’ he said, referring to the brides he thought were more attractive than his own wife.

Caitlin and Shannon’s disastrous marriage left fans horrified as it played out on screen last season.
In one infamous scene, personal trainer Shannon told Caitlin she wasn’t ‘good looking’ enough for him.
At their final commitment ceremony, relationship expert John Aiken asked Shannon: ‘Why did you feel the need to say all those things to Caitlin?’
‘I don’t really have an answer for you… I said them just to hurt her. I’m really sorry I’ve done this. I’m gutted,’ he responded.
‘I’m really sorry, but I want to stay,’ Shannon added, before confirming his decision to stay in the experiment.
A furious Caitlin said she was fed up with his empty apologies and ‘cruel’ behaviour.

At their final commitment ceremony, the MAFS experts and couples applauded Caitlin for standing up for herself
She told him: ‘We can’t keep moving forward on the premise of ‘I’ll own it’ but with no action of doing better. It’s an apology followed by anger and aggression, and defensiveness – not an apology that is actioned.
‘This isn’t what I wanted, and if I’m being honest, if I could do it all over again with someone else I would. I deserve that chance but this man does not deserve me. So I will be leaving.’
While Shannon looked shocked by Caitlin’s decision, John, the other experts and the other MAFS couples all applauded her.
