Kylian Mbappe all-but confirms Paris Saint-Germain exit in 2024 – Kylian Mbappe has all-but confirmed that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in 2024.
The French forward took to social media on Tuesday to hit out at ‘lies’ regarding a move to Real Madrid this summer, insisting that he will stay in France for the upcoming season.

Mbappe’s current contract expires in the summer of 2024, with the player having the option to extend that deal by a further year.
The 24-year-old sent a letter to PSG informing them he will not be extending his deal and this was leaked to the press on Monday.
Explaining the letter, Mbappe has now told AFP he never discussed extending his PSG contract, with the club informed a year ago that he wouldn’t be triggering the option to extend his contract until 2025.
The Frenchman then dismissed a report in Le Parisien that the letter was designed to engineer a move to Real Madrid this summer.
He tweeted: “LIES… At the same time, the bigger it is, the more it passes. I have already said that I will continue next season at PSG where I am very happy.”
As a result, Mbappe looks set to become the biggest free transfer ever when he leaves Paris next summer.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and appeared all-but set to join Los Blancos last year.
However after penning a new contract at the Parc des Princes, that speculation quietened, at least in the short-term.
But with news that Mbappe will leave Paris Saint-Germain next summer, the rumour mill will likely go into overdrive as Real Madrid and clubs around the world try to secure the ultimate bargain for arguably the world’s best player.
