Gal Gadot stars in new trailer for upcoming spy thriller Heart Of Stone also featuring Jamie Dornan

Gal Gadot jumped into action in a new trailer for her upcoming Netflix spy thriller Heart Of Stone that also features Jamie Dornan.

The 38-year-old Israeli actress stars as agent Rachel Stone in the film directed by British filmmaker Tom Harper that is planned to be the beginning of a franchise.

The trailer that was screened on Saturday at Netflix’s Tudum fan event in Brazil opened with Stone being reminded of the importance of her work by Sophie Okonedo’s character.

‘You know what you signed up for. No friends, no relationships …what we do is too important. When governments fail, the only thing left is the Charter,’ she told Stone.

Stone by day works as an agent for MI6, but also serves as an agent for the Charter, an organization committed to ‘keeping peace in a turbulent world.’

The Charter relies on a powerful piece of artificial intelligence with the ability to ‘crash a market or drop a plane out of the sky’ and the owner of the Heart owns ‘the world’, a voice-over informed viewers.

The antagonist of the movie, Keya Dhawan [played by Bollywood star Alia Bhatt], steals The Charter’s ‘heart’.

Stone sets out on a mission to retrieve it and at one point leaped over a railing and tumbled down a snowy slope before she started paragliding down the Alps. She also jumped from a moving motorcycle and mid-flight from an aircraft.

Matthias Schweighöfer also has a starring role in the film and his character warns Stone that her ‘chance of success just plummeted’ and she replied, ‘Only because you have no imagination.’

Gal previously starred in the Netflix action comedy film Red Notice that also starred Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who also was a co-producer.

Two sequels are in development with Gal, Ryan and Dwayne returning along with Red Notice writer and director Rawson Marshall Thurber.

Gal is a co-producer of Heart Of Stone, which was filmed in Italy, London, Iceland and Portugal.

Heart Of Stone is scheduled to be released on August 11 on Netflix.
