Arsenal have priced Folarin Balogun at £35million after his sensational season on loan at Reims.

The striker has grabbed the attention of several clubs in Europe, including in the Premier League following news that he wants to leave.

Balogun is desperate for first-team football and does not want to go out on loan again.

And Arsenal are prepared to sell the United States international but for a steep fee that could price him out of a move.

According to The Sun, Balogun has been priced at £35m while Crystal Palace are keen but cannot afford to stump up such a sum.

There are also several unnamed Premier League clubs that are keeping tabs on the striker.

AC Milan and Inter Milan are also interested in the 21-year-old, who recently switched allegiance to the USA in May.

Balogun had an incredible year last season on loan to Reims, where he scored 21 times in Ligue 1 – the fourth most in the division.

While on international duty with the States, the striker gave an update on his future.

He said: “What I can say is that I definitely won’t go on loan again.

“I’m not sure on the discussions that are going to take place, I’m not sure what’s going to happen.

“But I’m just committed to now, I try to stay present.”

Arsenal are already readying for life without Balogun and the funds could be spent before he even leaves.

The Gunners have agreed a £65m fee for Kai Havertz from Chelsea who will compete with Gabriel Jesus up top.

Eddie Nketiah also remains at the Emirates and is expected to fill in as a squad member.

That leaves no space for Balogun, who is keen on being the main man at another club.

And he would not have done his chances any harm after taking to international football so quickly.

In just his second appearance for the United States, he scored in a 2-0 win over Canada that saw them lift the CONCACAF Nations League trophy.
