An adult and two children have been rescued following a horror crash on one of Sydney’s busiest roads, sparking major chaos during the morning peak hour.
The crash occurred on Parramatta Road at Auburn in Sydney‘s west on Tuesday morning.
Eastbound lanes on Parramatta Road were shut down so emergency services could clear the scene.
Footage from the scene shows a car mounted on the footpath and rolled on its side.
Parramatta Road has since reopened but traffic remains heavy.
‘Eastbound lanes of Parramatta Rd are open again as the crash has been cleared. The diversion has been lifted and traffic should slowly ease,’ the latest Sydney Traffic alert states.
