Home and Away star Lukas Radovich shares heartbreaking family news: ‘Words cannot describe the loss’
Lukas Radovich announced the devastating loss of his father on Tuesday in a heartbreaking message online.
The former Home and Away star, 28, penned a lengthy message on Instagram alongside a reel of happy memories he shares with his late dad.
He said the family was planning to jet off to Italy for a much needed holiday and reunion before they lost their ‘Captain’.
‘Yesterday, we said goodbye to our Maximus, and words can not describe the loss,’ he wrote the day after the funeral.
‘Loved by so many, and gone too soon. Hearing stories of his exploits yesterday – none came as a surprise. But all spoke to the character of who he was as a person.’

He continued: ‘Smart, funny, strong-willed, caring, adventurous, and loving. I still feel that love and always will. It will never fade.’
Lukas went on to say his father left him with ‘a long list of rules for life’, three of which he happily shared with his followers.
‘The good wine is meant to be shared, not saved. Stay curious. And never ever wear thongs on a plane,’ he revealed.

His former castmates flocked to the comments section to express their condolences, with Sophie Dillman writing: ‘Sending so much love xxx.’
Emily Weir said simply, ‘Love you xx,’ while Lynne McGranger commented: ‘Sending love and strength to you and your family, Lukas.’
Meanwhile, Georgie Parker finished with: ‘Beautiful pictures of your dad, Lukas, and I love the three lessons. I’ll share some of that wine with you.’
