Andy Lee breaks his silence on persistent wedding rumours with his girlfriend of nine years Rebecca Harding
Andy Lee finally addressed wedding rumours on Friday after years of speculation he had proposed to girlfriend Rebecca Harding.
The popular radio host, 42, referenced the numerous reports during an interview with 9Entertainment alongside his co-host Hamish Blake.
He laughed off the speculation when asked about it, and said he ‘had lots of secret weddings’ with his model girlfriend, 32, who he’s been dating since 2014.
After Hamish, 41, joked his mother kept falling for the false reports suggesting he was moving to Los Angeles, his friend and long-time colleague put his two cents in.
‘I’ve been married several times so far. I’ve had lots of secret weddings,’ Andy said.

‘I probably bought you a house as a wedding gift,’ Hamish quipped.
It comes just days after Andy and Rebecca sparked marriage rumours yet again as they enjoyed a romantic vacation in Italy.
In an Instagram post made by Andy over the weekend, the comedian referred to himself as Rebecca’s ‘husband’ three times.

Alongside an image of himself sitting in a changeroom waiting for his love, Andy wrote: ‘As I sat in the hundredth chair for the day waiting for Bec to complete some more shopping, I glanced right and saw the glimpse into the future.
‘Bec’s dad had found the only other chair. Here’s to Chair Husbands all over the world. You are seen… but never heard (as it should be),’ he went on.
‘Upload your Chair Husband pics as a sign of solidarity. #ChairHusbands.’

His fans were quick to notice the reference, with one commenting under the image: ‘Can you be called a chair husband if you haven’t proposed?’
‘”Husband” hey Ando?!’ another said, with one more writing: ‘BUT… Are you a husband?’
Engagement rumours were sparked in 2020 when Andy posted a photo of Rebecca hiding her left hand while celebrating her 30th birthday.
‘Is there a ring she’s hiding with her left sleeve?’ one eagle-eyed follower wrote, keen to see if the pair were about to share exciting news.
