At least 23 people injured in crash involving a bus and a car which caught fire in Chicago: Three people seriously hurt in early morning collision

At least 23 people were injured early Sunday morning following a crash on Lake Shore drive in Chicago that involved a car and a CTA bus.
The Chicago Fire Department tweeted about the incident just before 6.45am local time, detailing the precise location of the incident.
Three people were seriously injured and 13 were in good condition after the crash, according to CFD. Another seven people refused treatment.
The injured were taken to local hospitals.
The car involved in the crash eventually caught fire, according to the department.
Some CTA buses have temporarily been rerouted due to the blockage caused by the crash – Lake Shore Drive is closed in the surrounding area.
