They say never meet your heroes, but for one Aussie influencer meeting Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise was nothing short of a dream come true.
Suzan Mutesi said she enjoyed an intimate exchange with the A-list star at the Sydney premiere of Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One last week, and said the A-list actor kissed her on the hand and called her ‘beautiful’.
‘First impression, he’s a true gentleman,’ the 37-year-old told Daily Mail Australia.
‘He’s polite, gentle, and very present. He makes you feel seen and gives you his undivided attention. I mean, he maintained eye contact the whole time, it was like nobody else existed.’
The influencer-turned-actress, who boasts 1.2million Instagram followers, recalled the surreal moment when Tom appeared next to her on the red carpet.

‘He was just saying ‘hi’ to a few friends and influencers, and I had just finished talking to the director, his wife and Simon. And then I look back, and there he was, standing right next to me.’
Unable to resist the opportunity to speak to him, Suzan wished the actor a ‘happy birthday’ and asked if she could get a photo with him.
She said the friendly Hollywood star insisted on arranging the perfect shot.
‘He moved people around, made sure we had the best angles and light,’ Suzan recalled.

Things got more intimate when Suzan confessed to Tom she had a crush on him.
‘He pulled me closer and said, ‘Really? You’re so beautiful.’ We whispered in each other’s ears, and then he held me in a hug,’ she said.
‘He kept looking deep into my eyes and telling me how beautiful I was. It was an incredibly emotional and empowering moment.’

In a surprising move, the Top Gun legend then leaned in to kiss Suzan’s hand.
‘He held my hands for a long time, told me I was beautiful, then leaned down and kissed my arm. I just felt like crying at that moment.’
But it wasn’t just Tom’s charm that left Suzan star struck – the Hollywood A-lister also had an irresistible scent.
‘He smelled fresh, like he just came out of the shower. His scent was attractive, something I could enjoy being around for a long time.’
A longtime fan of Cruise’s films, Suzan revealed her all-time favourite films was Mission Impossible.
‘I’ve never missed any Mission Impossible film. I love how they take me on a journey.’
