A friendly between the Republic of Ireland and Colombia women’s sides was abandoned after just 20 minutes on Friday.
Both sides are making their final preparations for the upcoming Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Ireland were playing their South American opponents in Brisbane just under a week before their tournament opener.
However mid-way through the first half, the PA news agency report that after heavy tackle on Denise O’Sullivan, a decision was made to to abandon the game after a series of ‘rough challenges’.
The midfielder, who plays for North Carolina Courage in the United States, has been sent to hospital for a scan on her shin.
In a statement, the FIA said: “The behind-closed-doors game between the Ireland Women’s National Team and Colombia on Friday evening was ended after 20 minutes of play.
“The game, which was held in Meakin Park, Brisbane, became overly physical and it was decided, following consultation with the match officials, to end the game.
“The Ireland team then underwent a full training session to continue preparations for their opening game in FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, against Australia in Sydney on 20 July.”
Results of O’Sullivan’s scan are set to be revealed on Sunday in a potential blow to Ireland’s chances of World Cup success.
They kick-off their tournament against co-hosts Australia, the second game of the competition after New Zealand vs Norway.
Ireland will then face Canada and Nigeria in their final Group B fixtures, with 1st and 2nd heading through to the Round of 16.
The Girls in Green are competing at their first ever World Cup having failed to qualify or not enter any of the previous eight tournaments.
