Trina has a brother named Wilbrent Bain Jr., who tragically lost his life in a shooting in 2013. In 2019, her mother passed away due to cancer. During her time as a student at Miami Northwestern Senior High School, Trina was a majorette. She graduated in 1992 and initially pursued a career in real estate.

Trina’s music career has been very successful. Her first album, “Da Baddest Bitch,” was a big hit, and it received a gold certification from the RIAA. The album featured popular songs like “Da Baddest Bitch” and “Pull Over.”

Her second album, “Diamond Princess,” came out in 2002 and included collaborations with famous artists like Missy Elliott, Ludacris, Eve, and Fabolous. It reached number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart and had hit singles such as “Told Y’all,” “No Panties,” and “B R Right.”

In 2005, she released her third album, “Glamorest Life,” which debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200. It featured the successful song “Here We Go” with Kelly Rowland, which became her first platinum single.

Her fourth album, “Still Da Baddest,” came out in 2008 and became her highest-charting album, reaching number six on the Billboard 200. It included popular singles like “Single Again,” “I Got a Thang for You,” and “Look Back at Me.”

In 2010, Trina released her fifth album, “Amazin’,” which debuted at number 13 on the Billboard 200. It had songs like “That’s My Attitude,” “Million Dollar Girl,” “Always,” and “White Girl.”

Her sixth album, “The One,” finally came out in 2019 after some delays and label changes. The album featured collaborations with artists like Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, K. Michelle, Dave East, Plies, and Boosie Badazz. Some of the singles from this album were “Damn,” “If It Ain’t Me,” “Get Money,” and “BAPS.”

Katrina Laverne Taylor’s Personal Life

From 2005 until 2007, Trina and the artist Lil Wayne had on-and-off relationships. In an appearance with Wendy Williams on October 5, 2005, she formally announced that she and Wayne planned to wed. Lil Wayne later helped Trina conceive. However, the pregnancy ended in miscarriage. Trina has “Wayne” tattooed on her wrist, while Lil Wayne has “Trina” written on his ring finger.

The tattoos are identical. From 2007 until 2010, Trina was dating NBA star, Kenyon Martin. On his neck, he had a tattoo of her lips. From 2012 through 2014, rapper French Montana dated Trina. The couple engaged in September 2021 after Trina started dating Raymond Taylor in 2017.
