According to records from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Pasqual was apprehended and charged with a felony at 10 am on the same day as the assault. Despite this, he managed to secure bail and was released from custody by 3:23 pm that day.

Legal papers from May 18 show a series of attacks. On January 29, Nick hit Allie with a belt. Then, on March 6, he smashed doors in their house in Sunland, California. On April 14, he raped and choked her.
The worst attack happened on May 23 when Nick stabbed her. Before that, on May 18, Nick was violent again, which led Allie to ask for legal protection.
Allie said Nick got aggressive when he was drunk. One night around 3 am, he started shouting and hit her. She tried to escape, but Nick grabbed her hair, causing her to fall and hit her head.
She tried to hide in a friend’s room, but Nick forced his way in and pushed her, causing more injuries. Allie ended up with a concussion. While she called for help, Nick threatened her friend.
