In 2004, Brandon joined his father Michael Miller’s real estate development company, Real Estate Equities Corporation. Following Michael Miller’s passing, Brandon took the helm and led the company alongside Mark Seigel.
Established in 1978 by Michael Miller, Real Estate Equities Corporation is a family-owned development firm. Under the leadership of Brandon and Mark, the company successfully purchased or developed over 20 million square feet of real estate properties throughout the United States, representing several billion dollars in capitalized value.
REEC has built an impressive track record of New York City developments, including commercial, condominium, multi-family, office, single-family, and asset management projects.
Despite his professional achievements, Brandon Miller’s life ended tragically in July 2024. Reports indicate that he died by suicide, although his family has not yet released an official statement.

Brandon Miller was married to Candice Miller and cherished father of two daughters. Candice is known for founding Mama & Tata, a lifestyle resource for mothers in NYC and L.A., and co-founding Black Iris, a women’s fashion collection.
Brandon and Candice grew up as close friends in the Hamptons. They didn’t start dating until their mid-20s when the timing felt right. Despite their long friendship, they kept no secrets and knew each other well.
They dated for a year before Brandon proposed unexpectedly on a Super Bowl Sunday, a day Candice usually disliked due to illness. Despite this, Brandon’s plan for the proposal couldn’t be stopped by a cold.
