Horror as woman’s lifeless body is found at a home in Brisbane – as it is declared a crime scene by police

The body of a woman has been found in a unit in Brisbane overnight prompting police to declare a crime scene.

Officers were called to an apartment block on Franklin Street in Annerley, in Brisbane’s south, at about 9pm on Thursday night. 

A woman, believed to be 45-years-old, was found dead inside the unit. 

A 53-year-old man, who is known to the woman, is assisting police with inquiries.

Police have declared a crime scene with investigations to determine the cause of the woman’s death ongoing.
