She was the daughter of the late Viola Caldwell Moss and H. B. “Blake” Moss and was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, according to Mrs. Campbell. In terms of her occupation, she was a Methodist lay leader, an Epworth United Methodist Church member, and a housewife.
