According to Legacy, Mrs. Cora Moss Campbell passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at the age of 76. Her body was found in her house on Friday afternoon. She was the daughter of the late Viola Caldwell Moss and H. B. “Blake” Moss and was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, according to Mrs. Campbell. In terms of her occupation, she was a Methodist lay leader, an Epworth United Methodist Church member, and a housewife.

Cora Campbell was a victim of murder and a widowed pensioner.

The elderly woman got brutally stabbed to death in her own home in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in 2012 in The Widow. Police described her body’s situation as a chilling one. That is, she was found with the handle of the knife sticking out of her neck and the dried blood on the back of her head. The investigators believe that she was brutally hit from behind for her to end up in such a horrible state.

Ten years ago, the police authorities were concerned about the elderly woman living in her home alone, who her other family members could not contact. As a result, her worried family reported this matter to the concerned authorities, and they started their search. Well, they did find the person Cora Campbell, but the sad thing was she was found motionless inside her home.

Cora is survived by her son Joey, a daughter Cynthia Campbell and her siblings as well.

Cora Campbell Found Dead In Her Home -Who Killed Her?

Cora Campbell was found unresponsive in her own home after being badly stabbed to death.

She is assumed to be killed by Terrance Staley, given the suspect in this murder case is Staley as written in Fandom. It is learned that Terrance Staley pleaded guilty on Tuesday to financial card fraud in trying to get $600 from Cora Campbell.

However, online sources claim Staley denies involvement in Campbell’s murder. One of the online users, who watched the Cold Justice episode about the Cora Campbell murder, labeled the suspect as a vile man who is guilty of sin.

Some also wrote that he should be behind bars for her brutal murder, for at least life with no possibility of parole or given a death sentence. People believe what he did to Cora was barbaric for financial purposes, as Staley needed money to pay for his delayed room rents.

On the contrary, in the YouTube video Dateline 2017 Mystery, The Murder of Cora Campbell, her son Joey Campbell was also listed as one of the potential suspects in Cora’s murder and him being an emotional suspect. Given the fact that Joey hated his mother and how he had told his former girlfriend about his dislike of Cora.

Sadly, Cora’s case seems unresolved, and the media have not publicized the main culprit
