Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg is currently in Sydney to film his upcoming crime thriller called Play Dirty.

And on Friday, radio star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, 49, revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show the crew had blocked off an entire street in Sydney for filming.

‘Residents in the Hills District in Sydney are a little confused at the moment, seeing houses all with Christmas lights lit up,’ Jackie told co-host Kyle Sandilands.

‘All the residents have signed an NDA and been paid not to say anything. They are filming Mark Wahlberg’s new movie Play Dirty.’

Henderson added that homeowners were paid a minimum of $5,000 for the filming in the street and houses with Christmas lights attached got paid a whopping $10,000.

A crew of over 200 people are said to be working on the film, which is based on the 1960s hardboiled Parker crime novels by Donald E. Westlake.

Wahlberg’s new movie is helmed by Iron Man 3 director Shane Black and co-stars Dermot Mulroney and Thomas Jane.

Wahlberg, 52, was first spotted on the Sydney set of his upcoming Amazon crime thriller in March.

He was spotted wielding a firearm while filming an intense action sequence with stunt performers and other cast members.

In one high intensity scene, a horse jockey was seen getting run over by a car on the racetrack.

Wahlberg sported a burgundy tracksuit for filming, with a black neck gaiter and a pair of sneakers.

It follows reports that another F45 gym in Sydney has gone into liquidation as the global Australian fitness chain backed by Wahlberg downsizes.

In February, F45 Training Alexandria in Sydney’s inner south closed, a decade after opening in an area packed with high-rise apartments.

Members were emailed last month, directing them to another F45 gym at Rosebery, 3km away, as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission announced the liquidation.
