A 42-year-old man has been charged after allegedly filming a woman without her consent after police found cameras in a bedroom in Lithgow, NSW.

In June 2023 State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad- which targets serious and organised crime – started investigating after finding a device containing videos of intimate acts during a search warrant.

Then yesterday, a man was arrested for allegedly supplying methamphetamine.

Police with a search warrant allegedly then found an electronic device in a creek behind a home on Bells Road, Oakey Park, on the edge of the town.

The man was charged with intentionally record intimate image without consent DV, deal with property proceeds of crime less than $1,000,000 and supply prohibited drug at Lithgow Police Station.

He was refused bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court today.

Police will allege in court the man had set up several hidden cameras in a bedroom at a Lithgow property to film women without their consent during intimate acts.

Investigations are continuing.
