A man has been seriously injured in a violent carjacking in Melbourne CBD.
Police said the man was hit by his own car after an unknown offender hopped in the driver’s seat and fled on Hardware Lane after 3pm today.
The man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined,” police said.
An investigation is ongoing as the offender remains on the run.
