Police are re-appealing for information after human remains were found on a New South Wales beach last month.
The remains of what’s believed to be a 50 or 60-year-old woman were found at Jetty Beach in Coffs Harbour on June 18 at 10 am.
The woman was found wearing a “Bras N Things” singlet top and blue denim jeans.
Police also found an array of items nearby, which they believe are connected to the remains, including silver earrings, hair clips, a Target blue and white striped button-up shirt, a Harvey World Travel backpack, a Laura Jones brand wallet, reading glasses and a paperback book titled The Butterfly Summer.
Investigators have not been able to identify her, but have determined that she died sometime between 2020 and 2023.
Forensic testing is continuing, however, there have been no matches between the remains and any missing person reports in the area.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Coffs Harbour Police or Crime Stoppers.
