Joe Biden‘s administration has presided over a large-scale crime and immigration crisis, the chair of the Republican Party has claimed.
Ronna McDaniel hit out at the 80-year-old’s track record over the past four years in a speech at the Ronald Reagan presidential library in California.
‘President Ronald Reagan wouldn’t even recognize Biden’s America. He is failing our country at every turn.
‘In Biden’s America, there is rampant crime in our streets. Nine major cities recorded record homicide numbers in 2022,’ she said.
McDaniel launched a series of broadsides at the current administration, warning that the Republicans were ready to take back the White House next year

‘Biden’s America has given us a broken southern border,’ the niece of Utah Senator Mitt Romney added.
‘Record numbers of migrants have died in harrowing circumstances all while cartels make record profits.’
More than 2.3 million people tried to sneak across the U.S.-Mexican border last year, according to data from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency.
That is up from 1.7 million in 2021 and just over 450,000 the previous year when much of the world was locked down during the coronavirus pandemic.
The 50-year-old launched her attack on the president late on Thursday as reports first emerged that he plans to announce he will run for a second term.
She also said the U.S. economy had tanked under his leadership, pointing to ‘sky-high inflation, record government spending and out-of-control energy costs.’
A January report by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think-tank, found that prices have spiraled by 14% since Biden took office.
The top political strategist, who won a fourth term as GOP chair in January, also slammed liberals for promoting gender identity issues in the classroom.
‘Left-wing radicals are running our schools,’ she claimed without citing examples. ‘Elementary school children are being inundated with sexual content.’
McDaniel’s comments came as she announced that the Reagan Library in Simi Valley just outside Los Angeles will host the second GOP primary debate.
‘I firmly believe that our next president will be on that stage,’ McDaniel said without providing a date for when it will take place.
It will be the fifth-ever Republican primary that Reagan’s presidential library will have hosted.
The first primary debate is scheduled to be held Milwaukee in August and broadcast on Fox News.
No criteria have been announced as to how potential participants would qualify to appear.

Former president Donald Trump currently tops voter surveys amongst Republican voters, followed by would-be candidate and Florida governor Ron DeSantis.
Polling experts FiveThirtyEight forecast that 49.5% of registered Republicans will back Trump, compared to 25.7% for DeSantis.

The 44-year-old ex-Congressman has not yet formally confirmed his intention to run against the real estate mogul despite staging a number of campaign-style events.
But sources close to his team have told DailyMail.com that he could declare his bid for the White House as early as next month.
It comes as conservative talk radio host Larry Elder announced on Thursday that he is also running for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.
Elder, 70, made the announcement on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and followed up with a tweet.
‘America is in decline, but this decline is not inevitable. We can enter a new American Golden Age, but we must choose a leader who can bring us there,’ he wrote.
The long-shot candidate joins a crowded Republican field to go up against Donald Trump.
It also includes former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, former Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
